The programme focuses on technically advanced machinery and equipment that combines elements of mechanical engineering, electronics and computer science. It involves the use of computational mechanics methods, intelligent materials, sensor arrays, neural networks, automatic control methods and tools, together with computing devices such as local area networks and industrial systems. Graduates will be employed in ensuring the operation of measurement, control, robotic and mechatronic systems, in the design of new products that have a certain kind of intelligence, such as ABS systems, EDS, airbags in cars, various systems in consumer technology, etc.
